My journey to becoming a Certified Holistic Nutrition Practitioner began with my personal story. A few years after I started a family, I started noticing a lot of hormonal changes. I had headaches, sinus issues, and my thinking was foggy. As a result, I began to suffer from anxiety, depression, and mood swings. This deeply impacted my eating habits; I was giving into cravings, had no energy, and I rarely felt like myself. This phase of my life felt never ending - after 10 years of experiencing symptoms, I just felt helpless.
At that point, I was motivated to implement change. I began to explore and experiment with my diet and daily habits, and began to notice patterns of specific food sensitivities.
I took a deep dive into learning about holistic nutrition at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. When I discovered my food sensitivities during my own case study, I was finally able to figure out what was affecting my behaviour and concentration for the past 10 years. For the first time in years, I felt empowered over my body and felt renewed. I felt like I had truly found my calling when I became a Certified Holistic Nutrition Practitioner, and I haven’t looked back since.
I am so passionate about what I do because of my personal story, and that is what motivates me to help others to find their healthiest selves, mind, body, & soul. I now have the knowledge and background to begin my practice in supporting others to improve their gut health, help balance hormones to improve mental health, feel new vitality, and find new energy. Our Coaching Principles
We coach with the understanding that we are all unique, with different preferences, lifestyles, cultures, and needs. That is why we make it our top priority to tailor my coaching for each client based on their health vision.
We believe that health reaches far beyond what we put in our bodies. Wellness includes the entire picture of how we are doing, mind, body, and soul. When working with me, we will address nutrition as well as mental health, sleep habits, stress levels, and more.
Balance is key! We didn't feel as though I was truly living until we found balance in our personal health and wellness. When working with us, our approach is to factor in your lifestyle and work with it in order to set healthy and sustainable goals.
